A Good Night's Sleep Isn't Cheap

Article

For a mere $55,000 you can sleep on a completely handcrafted bed, designed for your ultimate comfort. You may wake up well rested, but the price tag might not be the best for your peace of mind.

It’s not news that getting enough sleep is incredibly important. With enough sleep you learn better, you stay healthier and your mood improves. For physicians, who are in charge of the well being of other people, it can be dangerous to go to work without being well rested.

Some might even say that having a good night’s sleep might be priceless for some people. Well, almost. The tag on a Savoir Bed might still shock you, even knowing how vital it is that a bed is comfortable considering you’ll spend a third of your life in it.

On the low end of the spectrum, a Savoir Bed will cost you a used car, or roughly $8,000, according to Forbes. On the high end, you’ll be shelling out $55,000. But you’ll also be lounging on the sort of mattress that celebrities and royalty (like the king of Morocco) like to get their beauty rest on.

As you might imagine, this isn’t a cookie cutter bed. This is a handmade, personalized piece of art. Is the room of your Tuscan villa oddly shaped? Or do you need the bed to fit with the medieval theme of your house? It will take several weeks, but that bed will fit flawlessly with the rest of the décor. Each bed is crafted to fit exactly what you need in terms of size, shape, support and comfort. So the price tag comes with some seriouspampering.
