Workplace culture sets the tone for employee well-being among physicians and other health care workers. Victor J. Dzau, MD, president of the National Academy of Medicine, discusses positive culture as a priority area in the Academy’s National Plan for Health Workforce Well-Being, which has seven priority areas to improve work conditions for physicians and medical staff, and ultimately improve patient care.
