Here are some of the more unusual ICD-10 codes coming to practices Oct. 1, based on where they occur: land, sea, or air.

 

 

 

The ICD-10 code set, scheduled to go live on Oct. 1, 2015, brings with it thousands of new codes for medical practices nationwide. And while some will be familiar to their ICD-9 predecessors, others are a bit peculiar.
