10 Dangerous Places to Vacation

Some of the nation's most popular vacation spots are farther from trauma care than you think.

A remote vacation is often very appealing. The whole point is to get away when you go away but you might not realize just how alone you can be. If the worst should happen and you or a loved one needs immediate care, you might be further away than you thought.

And while some of the danger zones might be more expected — large areas of all of the Midwest states and almost all of Hawaii except for Honolulu — there are some popular tourist sites that are more remote than would be expected. listed 10 dangerous but popular places to vacation:

Yosemite National Park, Calif.

Grand Canyon, Ariz.

Key West, Fla.

Yellowstone National Park, Wyo.Martha's Vineyard, Mass.Nantucket, Mass.Lake George, N.Y.Montauk, N.Y.Myrtle Beach, S.C.
