They may indeed, if the results of a recent survey are any indication. Seven in 10 primary care docs said they believe a revival of the old-fashioned house call will ease crowding in the emergency department
The survey included 7,000 physicians in family practice, general practice, internal medicine, geriatrics, geriatric psychiatry, pediatrics, and palliative medicine.
