What is your overall vision for the company?

At Greenway Health, our vision is to partner with the providers we serve to create a better ambulatory healthcare experience. With nearly 50 years of tenure, we are well poised to address the specific pain points faced by independent ambulatory practices offering innovative products and services to best enable their success.

Our vision is to support ambulatory providers in delivering the best possible patient care through an optimized experience with healthcare technology. Greenway Health solutions enable providers to operate at the top of their license, foster a better overall healthcare IT (HIT) experience, and improve provider satisfaction, ultimately contributing the improved health of their practices, their patients, and their communities.

How do you plan to make a meaningful impact in the industry?

Our central focus is an improved experience for healthcare providers, delivering the highest quality and seamless solutions to reduce the burden of interacting with HIT and create a technology ally in delivering patient care excellence.

Through a combination of technology advancements and strategic partnerships, Greenway Health is hyper focused on driving innovation, improving efficiencies, prioritizing performance, and increasing reliability. We create the greatest impact in the industry – and to our providers – by giving them solutions that are easy to use, save them time, and allow an elevated focus on patient care.

Greenway has a tenured history in the industry and an undiluted focus on ambulatory care. This solid foundation and our understanding of the current industry dynamics position us to navigate the rapidly changing environment while continuing to prioritize our providers’ experience.

We are committed to helping our providers overcome the increasing burdens of delivering healthcare and providing a better healthcare technology experience. We firmly believe that the first step in creating change is a strong partnership, built on trust and a mutual understanding of the day-to-day challenges our practices face.

We connect with our clients regularly and in all stages of development to incorporate the features and enhancements that meet their needs directly into our solutions. We walk side-by-side with them to understand what ‘better’ looks like for them, creating strategic plans to continually strengthen their HIT foundation, and deliver ongoing improvements in quality and experience.

As an example, our partnership with AWS (Amazon Web Services), allows us to tap into a rich network of innovative feature sets that are focused on improving care outcomes, enhancing provider efficiencies, and positively impacting the overall well-being of the patients and communities our practices serve.

What do you think makes Greenway unique in the healthcare technology industry?

Three things, our undiluted focus on ambulatory care, a person-centered approach to technology and workflow development, and an unwavering desire to continually advance healthcare technology.

At Greenway, we are deeply rooted in ambulatory medicine and share the commitment that our clients have made to advancing the quality of healthcare delivery. Our approach is different in that we are not asking our providers to simply accept the technology we deliver, but we are delivering technology that actively improves the quality of our providers’ day-to-day experience. It is our mission to continually answer the specific needs of the ambulatory provider practice, through a partnership that helps fuel innovation.

We also understand that there is a unique need for specialty focus amongst healthcare organizations that support the underserved. At Greenway, we have built a strong trusted advisor status with our community health clients, Federal Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Rural Health Centers, and Tribal Health groups. We have created tailored solutions for Tribal Health and FQHC organizations that ease the additional burden they face when balancing their desire to deliver excellent care and adhere to increasing regulations.

Overall, our commitment to understanding our clients and our dedication to delivering a person-centered experience differentiates us in the industry. We work with our clients, prioritizing their needs, and focusing on the ‘moments that matter’ to deliver solutions that improve efficiency and help them better serve their patients.

In what ways do you see technology transforming the healthcare industry in the coming years?

We recognize the industry operates in an increasingly regulated world where adherence to standards places a growing strain on providers. Unlike some vendors, we do not see these increasing regulatory requirements as a ‘check the box’ activity but use it as an opportunity to transform the foundation of our solutions to better serve our clients today and in the future.

Regulatory updates are now occurring every few months rather than every few years demanding a new level of agility. This rapid evolution of healthcare demands flexibility in technology road mapping and development. We can provide a much more agile approach to our clients through cloud-based solutions.

At Greenway, we can harness the power of AWS to deliver a cloud-based solution that helps providers keep up with the rapid flow of information, regulatory requirements, and integrations of new tools and features, while removing much of the IT burden that healthcare IT regulations can create. But the power of the cloud moves beyond an ‘IT’ helper.

At Greenway, we are particularly excited about the transformative potential of AI (Artificial Intelligence), machine learning, and ambient voice technology in the industry. We can envision a future – not so far off – where patient visits can be automated by these technologies, assisting providers in documentation and task completion, driving efficiency, and helping redirect focus back to the patient-provider interaction.

These types of technological advancements will significantly reduce the cognitive burden on providers while strengthening patient engagement. The incorporation of AI, machine learning, and ambient listening are poised to be the first true disrupters in healthcare technology development in some time—creating a discernable reduction in burden while improving the quality of the patient care experience.

How does Greenway position itself to leverage these advancements and stay ahead of the curve?

We are focused on making strategic investments that create the most meaningful impact for our clients. Our ongoing commitment to our client relationships drives a deeper understanding of what our clients need to create a better experience.
