The AAFP can show you how - on the Web

The AAFP can show you how - on the Web

Feel like an infotech dummy? Not to worry: The AAFP is offering interactive video training to help physicians adapt to the new information technologies. The first module in the series of online tutorials is called "Health Information Technology For The Family Physician Office: Hardware and Network Basics." It teaches participants how to evaluate the best hardware to fit their needs and how to prepare to install an EHR system.

The AAFP Center for Health Information Technology plans to launch three more modules over the next few months. Topics will include office redesign and workflow, EHR selection, and EHR implementation.

Physicians can earn one CME credit for each module they complete. The training modules are free to AAFP members and cost non-members $25 each.
