Article

The AAFP's Center for Health Information Technology is offering a series of online tutorials to help physicians learn more about EHRs and other forms of information technology.

The AAFP's Center for Health Information Technology is offering a series of online tutorialsto help physicians learn more about EHRs and other forms of information technology. The video programs, which are free to AAFP members and cost non-members $25 each, allow physicians to earn one CME credit for each module they complete.

The first module in the series teaches participants how to choose the computer equipment that would best fit their needs in an EHR system. The program also shows participants how to install an EHR in their office. Future topics will include office redesign and workflow, EHR selection, and EHR implementation.
