Physicians choose their top 9 EHR systems

Every year, Medical Economics asks physicians to rate the EHR system they use in their practice on a number of factors ranging from usability to customer service. ,We compiled the results from our latest survey, published in late 2018, and find which systems our readers gave the highest scores. Here are the top nine systems based on physician feedback. The rating includes the area the system scored the best and worst on, and how many physician users provided scores for each system.About the dataAs part of our 2018 EHR Report, physician survey respondents were given an opportunity to identify which EHR they use and to rate the system based on the following criteria: Quality of training your practice received on your EHR Amount of training your practice received on your EHR Ease of customization or configuration of your EHR to meet your practice’s needs Vendor’s ability to resolve technical problems with your EHR Response time to resolve an issue Quality of communications on issue resolutions Average wait time on support call Ease of moving from one section of your EHR to another Importing data into your EHR Ease of navigation through patient visit Speed of moving to back-up system when main system is interrupted Frequency of useful pop-ups / alertsThis ranking was compiled from these results and should not be taken as definitive guidance.
