How widespread is bias in health care? The view from health care employees
Employees on the front lines of health care say bias is pervasive, both against patients and themselves
A recent nationwide survey of more than three thousand health care workers conducted by the Commonwealth Fund and the African American Research Collaborative sheds light on the bias experienced by patients and the employees themselves. Highlights of the survey's results follow.
