‘Impact Wellbeing’ – The origin of a new program
A new resource is available to alleviate physician and health care worker burnout.
Federal legislation and funding helped the process to create “Impact Wellbeing,” a new guide and program to examine health care workplaces and improve conditions that may contribute to frustration of physicians and other clinicians. Stefanie Simmons, MD, FACEP, chief medical officer of the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes’ Foundation, explains the origin of the guide.
